JMT machines a wide range of items for the aerospace and defense industry (i. e. brackets, bolts, hinges, channels, misc hardware, landing gear and braking system components and shafts). Our niche is exotic materials and treated or harden steels (13-8, 17-4, 15-5, Inconel, Waspaloy, Titanium, Nickel Base, and High Temp Alloys).
Other than custom bolts, we also machine standard MS, AN, NAS, and FED SPEC bolts. We can manufacture, weld, finish process (organic, inorganic, heat treating, NDT), and assemble small sub-assemblies with bolts, washers, rivets, bearings, helicoil inserts, misc hardware, and non-electronic components.
JMT is the ideal machine shop to support spare parts, machined parts, and prototype programs. Our range of capabilities are 40’’ x 24’’ x 24’’ on the mills and 18’’ diameter x 24’’ on the lathes. JMT does not work with electronic components nor do we assemble them or install them into the parts we machine.
